PRODUCTION DIRECTOR
The Production Director is responsible for the non-music “sounds” of the station and develops all the production elements of the station. This includes producing station ID’s, commercials, promos, and coordinating the production staff. The Production Director doesn’t necessarily create all the announcements, but is responsible for organizing and determining relevance to the station. The Production director works with the Program Director and General Manager to create the on-air personality of the station.
The Production Director works 10 hours per week and reports to the General Manager and the Program Director and serves at least one academic year. The Production Director is mainly responsible for coordinating the production staff in producing, recording and editing of commercials, promos and station ID’s in relation to the internal daily operations of the station. |
