The News Director is the main coordinator of all News programming of WVOE Radio. The Director’s primary responsibility is to plan, direct, and monitor all news program scheduling.
The News Director is responsible for coordinating, and staffing the broadcast schedule for all newscasts and any recorded/live news updates, or packages on WVOE.
The News Director reports to the Program Director, works 10 hours per week and serves for one academic year. More specifically, the News Director is responsible for inserting all programs into the WVOE automation system. This includes all commercials, promos, liners, and recorded or live updates. |
