WVOE students take home more awards from the National Religious Broadcasters Association! Students from WVOE submitted their projects back in october and have been eagerly awaiting the results. During the last couple weeks of December, several students from WVOE were notified that they were winnners!

After an epic 4 days of live broadcasting, the 97.7 Hours of Christmas has come to a close. Over a $1000, and tons of gifts were raised during the event. All gifts and proceeds go directly to Christmas with Dignity, where they will take the donations and make them available to tthe families in our area that need it most. In this way, we are able to be more than just a little radio station that could, we are able to show the love of Christ. The students of WVOE united together, filled the entire 97.7 hours with live broadcasting, raised lots of support, and had a ton of fun doing so. Thanks to everyone involved for making this a great event.
WVOE 97.7 FM has been awarded the 2009 iNRB Media Award for Radio Station of the Year! This is the first year this category has been offered and WVOE was the first winner. This award was based a thorough review of student-operated radio stations that deliver radio programming on or off the school's campus.
