Students are returning to campus, professors are preparing for classes, and WVOE is gearing up for another great year. The WVOE staff have spent the last several months planning different events for the year. Be on the lookout for more information about concerts, Homecoming, Octoasterfest, the 97.7 Hours of Christmas, and many other events as the year progresses.
Students will begin broadcasting on WVOE during the first week of classes this year. Check out the On-Air Schedule for a list of all the shows and be sure to tune in and listen.
WVOE was nominated for the iNRB College Radio Station of the Year award again this year. This will be the second year that the award will be offered; WVOE won the award the first time it was offered last year. The required productions will be submitted to the judges in late September and the results should be in by Christmas break. Student will be able to submit their personal productions in November; all awards will be given out at the NRB conference in February.
